Create Your Own Layout

We have designed walk-in wardrobes in spare bedrooms, oversized landings, master bedroom extensions and purpose-built annexes.

Every one of them starts with the same question: how do you actually use your wardrobe?

From there we design around your answer. The hanging zones go where you hang. The drawers go where you fold. The lighting goes where you need to see. And the finish goes wherever your taste takes it.

Frequently Asked Questions.

How much does a walk-in wardrobe cost in the UK?

Walk-in wardrobes from Bespoke Space typically start from around £2,000 for a smaller room and range to £12,000 or more for a large, fully fitted dressing room with island unit and integrated lighting. We provide a fixed-price quotation after your free design visit.

A workable walk-in wardrobe needs a minimum of approximately 2m x 2m. This allows a single run of storage on one or two walls with comfortable access. Larger rooms allow for island units and more generous layout options. Our designers can maximise any space — including narrow or irregular rooms.

Yes — this is one of the most popular projects we do. A spare bedroom converted into a bespoke dressing room adds both daily quality of life and real value to your home.

No — a walk-in wardrobe fitted within an existing room requires no planning permission. It is treated as internal fitting work, the same as any other furniture installation.

We recommend combining LED strip lighting underneath shelves and along the top of hanging zones with motion-sensor lighting at the room entrance. This gives you both ambient light and task lighting exactly where you need it, without fumbling for switches.
